About
Our Story
Daatchi started with a simple question:
"What would the future of Africa look like if social change, innovation and policy making join hands?"
Despite a wealth of talent, natural resources, an exuberant population and ideas, Africa’s post-independence development has waned in comparison to other continents. To date, deficiencies in systems and policy design, execution and continuity stall the desired levels of progress despite the best intentions. A model coupling policy making, entrepreneurial thinking and change management can transform the narrative and usher in a new era.
Daatchi - or Daakye meaning 'Future' in Akan - was established in Accra, Ghana as our answer.
